In an age where people are becoming more isolated within their homes, and where we talk and shop more and more through our keyboards, it has become all the more important to hang on to whatever sense of community that we have left. One of the silent complaints – the after affects – of the society whose desire to is hurry through the day, can be the sense of isolation and the loss of contact within our community.
Our purposes, in the creation of the Whitewater Dog Park, fill the needs of many individuals as well as the needs of our dogs: a safe place for our dogs to run and play off-leash, developing new friendships with other dog owners, exercise for the humans as well, and another avenue to help retain the sense of community.
As our web site develops, we anticipate becoming a source of information for “All Things Dog.” Health and training, nutrition, where to find other dog parks, stories of interest, photos, tips on dog care, and links to other sites that we have found most helpful. Bookmark our web site, and come visit us again. Your dog will love you for it.
